Bradley Camp History
History
A man named Joe Bradley was good friends with the Dark Corner Christian Church preacher at the time, Bob James. They fished together among other things. Joe came forward one Sunday and was baptized into Christ. When he came up out of the baptistry, he said not only have I given God my life, but I also give Him my wallet, my land, my money. This was in the mid sixties. Soon thereafter, being told the need of young people to accept and serve Christ, he donated the land for the camp in it's current location on Highway 425 South of Star City.
